the PROJECT
Celler la Llena (previously Celler Vilalta Pere) is part of a small family mountain farming project at 900 m altitude, in Vilanova de Prades.
We are farmers and artisans. Agriculture is our passion and way of life. We make natural wines with character exclusively from grapes from our vineyards, all in the Conca de Barberà.

We are Iris and Ernest.
We share a passion for wine and life.
Together, we cultivate and care for the vineyards, harvest the grapes, make the wine and work in the cellar.
Ernest has the experience of a lifetime dedicated to mountain agriculture.
Iris brings the scientific vision of biochemistry and microbiology to the field and to wines.

the TERRITORY
We are in Vilanova de Prades, a small mountain town inhabited by only 70 people, at the edge of the Conca de Barberà.
We actively contribute to preventing rural exodus, maintaining the agricultural heritage and landscape and recovering the winemaking tradition of the territory.
We have a spectacular terroir of llicorella (slate stone) or lacurell, as we call it, which helps make our wines so special.


Natural agriculture is much more than a cultivation technique, it is a way of life in harmony with nature.

COMMITMENT
At Celler la Llena we are deeply committed to the environment:
We use renewable energy produced by our own photovoltaic installation on the roof of the winery.
We practice certified organic viticulture and apply regenerative agriculture techniques.
We use paper labels to generate less waste and reuse glass bottles.
